General guidelines
1 - All submissions will be reviewed by the scientific committee, and authors will be notified of the committee’s decision.
2 - Authors may state their preference for an oral or poster presentation, but the final decision will lie with the scientific committee.
3 - Late abstracts and abstracts not conforming to the submission guidelines will not be considered.
4 - Each delegate is only allowed to present one oral or poster presentation but may co-author multiple abstracts.
5 - The presenting author must be the first named author and have registered for the conference by the registration deadline.
Guidelines for abstract submission
Abstract
1 - Do not exceed 350 words
2 - Use the following layout:

Methods
Results
Conclusions
3 - Do not include tables, figures or references
4 - The title, authors, and respective affiliations must be provided
Long version to be considered in the volume “Children and Exercise“
Authors are invited to submit alongside their abstract, a short paper for consideration by the scientific committee. The short paper is limited to 4 pages of text (~ 1200-1400 words) and authors must follow the template and formatting guidelines provided.
Guidelines for Oral Communication
Oral communication
1 - Oral presentations will be delivered using Microsoft PowerPoint.
2 - The oral presentation will last for 10 minutes with 5 minutes allowed for discussion.
Poster presentation
1 - Poster presentations are to be printed on A0 paper size (1189 mm height and 841 mm width) and presented in the portrait format.
2 - Posters will be displayed at the beginning of the presenters allocated session.
3 - The poster presentation will last for 2 minutes followed a 1 minute discussion.

Rules:
1 - Prizes will be given for the best oral presentations by young investigators.
2 - Young investigator is defined as those registered for a PhD and not more than 2 years post PhD.
3 - Candidates must confirm their entry for the competition at the moment of the submission.
4 - Judges were chosen on the basis of their knowledge and experience of the subject matter.
5 - Awards will be selected on the basis of excellence. In the event of a tie the final decision will be made firstly by negotiation between the judges, in a failure to resolve, the organising chair will make the final decision.
6 - Results will be announced at the conference dinner.
